Men's wool jumper

Are you looking for an elegant, soft, warm, comfortable, quality and above all not itchy wool jumper?
BellePaga has created jumpers that will satisfy all your needs and tastes! They combine sobriety and elegance, and will suit you perfectly thanks to their cut and design. How warm it is all year round!

They give you timeless style, no matter what the season. A unique experience, for optimum comfort.

BellePaga jumpers also mean STOP sweating! Thanks to the thermoregulating properties of this exceptional fibre.

There are 2 categories of alpaca fibre: alpaca fibre and baby alpaca fibre. Baby alpaca wool is finer (about 23 microns for baby alpaca as opposed to 29 microns for alpaca fibre) and comes from the adult alpaca, but from a part of the animal that resembles the very soft wool of crias (baby alpacas).

BellePaga stands for caring for the environment, the animals and the workers. We leave the alpacas in total freedom in their natural habitat in the Andes, guarded by breeders, at an altitude of over 4000 metres, where the temperature can vary by up to 30 degrees in a single day.

But why not use European bred wool?

Because: If the animal was bred in Europe, its fibres and all its virtues would be less. Because in the Andes, temperatures vary enormously. If you want a quality wool from alpacas, with a high yield, but also a thermoregulating wool, for example, the Belgian climate would not allow them to develop a high quality wool as they do in the Andes.

At BellePaga, we put a lot of emphasis on our quality. That is why we have selected the best quality fibre for the design of our alpaca wool jumpers for men. Our alpaca jumpers will bring you the softness and warmth you need for your day.

Women's wool jumper

At Bellepaga, you will find our women's alpaca wool jumpers, available in different colours and cuts. They will make the chillest of women happy.

The fibres come from their spring shearing, which only takes place once a year.

Good to know:

Unlike many other types of wool, shearing an alpaca yields 1.5 to 3 kg of wool, compared to an average of 120 to 180 g for goats (cashmere). This enables us to make more products for your comfort, while respecting our little alpaca.

BellePaga not only respects the animal to provide you with high quality wool jumpers, but is also a committed brand because it ensures that the environment is not damaged. And alpacas have a very good influence on that! Alpaca fibres do not need to be chemically treated, bleached or dyed. Alpacas do not pull up their roots when they eat grass, they simply mow the grass. This is because the alpaca has small foot pads, which help to protect the soil and the environment.

Tip for the selection of raw materials

-Linen: Linen is a material that is pleasant to the touch. Linen is a very old textile that is very valuable for nature. Linen clothes are insulating and absorbent. It is also hypoallergenic.

-Modal: modal is a very fine natural fibre obtained by spinning wood cellulose fibres. This material allows the skin to breathe and feels very soft.

-Silk: Silk is a natural protein fibre produced by a butterfly or spider and used to make textile products. It is known to be thermal.

-Acrylic: Acrylic is made from synthetic fibres that are not breathable like natural fibres. This material will not make your jumper soft, but to replace wool for sensitive or allergic skin.

-Cotton: Cotton is a plant-based and breathable fibre. Sweat will not be retained and the jumper will be comfortable to wear in winter.

Polyester: Polyester is a synthetic fibre that is water- and wrinkle-resistant. Pullovers made of polyester retain their colour for a long time. Jumpers are usually made from a blend of natural fibres such as cotton and wool, which makes your jumper more durable and longer lasting.

-The fleece: the inertia of synthetic fleece that gives you a warm and soft feeling, but makes you sweat a lot. This fabric is not very breathable, so it is waterproof and warm.

-Baby alpaca wool: Baby alpaca wool is the most recommended material for retaining body heat and for its resistance over time. The wool absorbs up to 30% of its weight in moisture without appearing damp. This wool is more than recommended in cold regions where it is important to wear a wool jumper so as not to feel the cold.

Baby alpaca is thus a wool used to make warm and thermoregulating woollens for the winter. This wool is known for its virtues among users who call it "wool of the gods", but, the wool of baby alpaca is in fact a fibre of the alpaca (and not the shearing of the fur of the small of the alpaca), which, due to the smoothness of the hair of the alpaca, will bring you a softness and an exceptional comfort. Jerseys made of baby alpaca wool promise delicacy and elegance, no matter which look you choose. Jumpers made from baby alpaca wool are also the finest and most luxurious in the world. Baby alpaca has many virtues such as strength, because unlike sheep's wool, baby alpaca is 4 times stronger than its competitor. And, this wool does not pile!

Softness and warmth are also appreciated by users of alpaca wool, because wool jumpers are 7 times warmer than jumpers made of sheep wool. In addition, baby alpaca wool jumpers are waterproof and hypoallergenic. They are ideal for sensitive skin and do not feel prickly or itchy to the touch.
