WOOL CARE

Alpaca wool does not easily retain odors or dust. It therefore does not need to be washed frequently: simply airing your garment flat is often enough to refresh it.

When washing is necessary, opt for dry cleaning or gentle hand washing in lukewarm water at a constant temperature. Use a small amount of detergent specially designed for delicate fibers and avoid fabric softeners, which could affect the wool’s natural softness.

At the end of the season, store your garments clean and completely dry, preferably folded. Lavender sachets or cedar wood can also help protect them from moths.

Gentle care and mindful washing help extend the lifespan of your garments while reducing their environmental impact. Avoid washing a garment after every use when simply airing it out is enough, use a small amount of detergent, and always opt for natural drying whenever possible.

COTTON CARE

Known for its long fibers, softness, and durability, Pima cotton is easy to wear and care for. To preserve its silky feel and reduce the risk of shrinking or losing its shape, choose a gentle cycle at a low temperature, following the care instructions on the label.

Wash similar colors together, preferably with the garment turned inside out, and use a mild detergent in moderate quantities. Avoid bleaching products and harsh fabric softeners, which can weaken the fibers and dull the colors.

After washing, gently reshape the garment. Opt for natural air drying, laid flat or on a drying rack depending on the garment, and avoid tumble drying, as the heat can cause shrinkage. If ironing is necessary, iron the garment inside out at a moderate temperature.
